This is my first real attempt with creating a blog. Please bear with me as I have no experience in this and am still attempting to work out all my bugs to do this.
Everyone has a vice or a soap box that is very dear and real to them. I have two of these. The first vice or soap box is my beliefs regarding not only my own religion, but religion in general, the second vice or soap box I have is education. In todays society these two topics can go hand in hand together. Do you believe that religion and school (the state) should be separated or do you believe there is place for religion in the schools?
Has there not always been reference to God and religion throughout history? Throughout history there has been examples of religion throughout history.(separation of church and state, 2002) If it is acceptable in the past why is it not acceptable now. Society has changed from standing u for itself to watching what we do and say so that we are politically correct. We are so afraid of offending a person, a group or an organization that we no longer are willing to do what we feel is right. This country was built on the foundation of religion and Christianity. We need to stand up and fight for what out forefathers believed in, lived for, fought for and in some cases ultimately died for!
